About HWD​

HWD is a full-service interior design studio creating spaces that feel personal, grounded in their surroundings, and connected to the people who use them. Whether a private residence or a hospitality project, we work closely with our clients to shape environments that elevate everyday life.

We guide each project from concept through completion, collaborating with architects and builders from the earliest planning stages through construction. We oversee every material, fixture, and finish, as well as sourcing, procurement, and the final installation of furnishings and decor. Throughout, we prioritize clear communication and a transparent process.

Our team brings together International and North American design sensibilities with local makers and resources. The work is stylistically diverse, shaped by the specific needs and vision of each client. We see clients as active collaborators, and the result reflects that: a space built side by side, not handed over.

Meet Hana Waxman

​

Hana Waxman is a native Californian from the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing her interior design degree in Southern California, curiosity and the pull of Mexico, its culture, its coast, led her south, where she founded Hana Waxman Design.

​

Hana has completed residential design projects throughout the US and Mexico. She travels regularly, drawn to the culture and craftsmanship of the places she visits, and brings that inspiration directly into her work.
